A Single Niche
A single niche holds one set of ashes and sits in a honeycomb-like column. Each single niche comes with a handmade felt urn (called a hug) and a stone cover that can be personalised.
A Medium Niche
A medium niche is larger, allowing more urns and personal touches. Each medium niche comes with a stone cover that you can personalise, or you can commission a glass panelled door that can be opened.
A Large Niche
A large niche is designed to hold multiple sets of ashes and are often used by families and passed between generations. Each large niche also comes with a stone cover that can be personalised as wished.
A Niche – A resting place that’s warm, peaceful and positive
Urns are placed in an alcove set in the stone walls, this is called a niche. All niches come with a stone facade that can be personalised. Some families choose to have stained glass doors that can be opened. They range in size from a single niche to a large niche, holding one set to multiple sets of ashes. They are also available in renewable terms of between 1 to 99 years, allowing you to use your niche as a temporary resting place or as one that passes between generations.
Your niche is your space, you may wish to place keepsakes, letters and drawings from family members in the niche. However the niche is used, flickering candlelight will bring your family’s story alive.
